Your Questions, Answered

  • Does your bun or piggy show an interest in carrots? We do carrot flavours! If you’re unsure about what treats to get, just pay attention to their current preferences and introduce new treats slowly. You may find they like the more premium combinations!

We are also planning on releasing a sampler pack - so stay tuned!

  • We make ordering easy! Just go to shop, click on the flavour you like, click on what you’re after (bite-sized, medium, or large), then click “Treat my pet”!

The quantity is how many bags of the treat you want. So if you only want one bag of 8 bite-sized treats, you leave the quantity as 1.

  • As said on the homepage and our “About” tab, we are purely hay-based product. We do not add flour or any preservatives/colours/sugars/fake flavours.

We only use locally sourced fruit, veggies, herbs, and flowers that we either use fresh or dehydrate using our dehydrator if they are not already dried.

We dehydrate our treats instead of baking them in an oven as that keeps the nutrients from the hay and the various fruit/veg/herb/flowers we add.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day or even a couple of hours.

  • Although we aren’t a large factory, we try our best to be as sterile as possible. We wash our hands thoroughly before putting on gloves. To pack we use mini tongs to handle the treats rather than our fingers, and all our treats are kept in jars that have been washed in boiling water and air dried in a place away from humans and animals.

Tash has also studied airborne pathogens and hygiene practices at University, so you can trust that we do our best to be as hygienic as possible to not risk our treats to be in contact with anything dangerous to your furry friend.

  • We source everything either locally, or within Australia.

Our hays mostly come from the vets here in Perth - which they get from Oakford Stockfeeds in bales. We can confidently say that they will not buy or sell anything that isn’t safe.

The veggies and fruit we source from orchards or farms locally - usually in the Perth hills. We also thoroughly wash them before adding to our treats.

The herbs and flowers we source from either locally or from within Australia. We’ve bought from Mindful Foods, Wheekly Boarding, and other Australian companies which we thoroughly investigated b‍efore making sure they used Australian sourced products.
